Happy Empress — Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Happy Empress ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What Happy Empress is

Happy Empress creates personalized Human Design, astrology, numerology, and Chinese zodiac readings from the birth details you provide.

Your readings are for personal insight, reflection, and entertainment. They are not professional advice, and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional guidance. Please don't rely on a reading to make important health, legal, or financial decisions — talk to a qualified professional for those.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it.
• The accuracy of your reading depends on the accuracy of the birth details you enter. If a birth time or place is wrong, the reading will reflect that.

4. Payments and refunds

• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy.
• Readings are digital products delivered immediately. Because each one is written for you personally and delivered right away, all sales are final.
• If something actually goes wrong — a reading fails to generate, or you are charged twice — email us and we will put it right.
• If you buy through a mobile app, the app store's (Apple's or Google's) payment terms and rules may also apply.
• The membership works differently from a one-off reading. It is covered in 4a below.

4a. The membership

The membership is a monthly subscription. While it is active it opens what is inside your account — what each part of your chart means, Ask Empress AI, your sky each month, and the charts you keep for other people.

• It renews automatically. The price is shown to you before you join, and the same amount is charged every month until you cancel. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
• You can cancel any time, from your account. Cancelling is handled on Stripe's own billing page, where you can also change the card you pay with.
• Cancelling stops the next payment, not the one you have already made. Your membership runs to the end of the month you have paid for and then does not renew. We do not charge you again, and we do not refund part of a month.
• Your account and your readings stay. Cancelling the membership does not close your account or take away readings you have bought — those are yours to keep. Your chart stays too. Only the membership parts close.
• If a payment fails, Stripe will try it again over a few days. If it keeps failing the membership ends, and you are welcome to start it again whenever you like.
• If the price ever changes, we will email you before it affects you, and you can cancel before the new price starts.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the Service — for example, don't try to break into it, disrupt it, access other people's accounts or readings, copy or resell the Service, or use it for anything unlawful.

5a. Entering someone else's birth details

A compatibility reading needs two people, and you can choose to save someone's birth details so you don't type them again.

If you enter details for anyone other than yourself, you confirm that they are happy for you to do so — or, for a child you are responsible for, that it is your decision to make. Please don't enter someone's birth details if they wouldn't want you to.

Saved charts are private to your account. We never contact the people you save, and they have no account with us. You can delete a saved chart at any time, and deleting your account deletes them all. If someone contacts us asking to be removed, we will remove them and let you know.

6. Ownership

• Your reading is yours to keep and use for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
• The Happy Empress name, logo (™), report designs, templates, and software are ours and are protected. Please don't copy, resell, or reproduce them without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." While we work hard to make your readings meaningful and the calculations accurate, we can't promise the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a reading will produce any particular outcome in your life. Readings are for reflection and entertainment.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Happy Empress is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service, or for decisions you make based on a reading.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, let you know. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
